Project called “Benefits of Technology” launched in Pekua

It is a realistic and groundbreaking idea to build an advanced or Digital Bangladesh in ICT and to create a knowledge-based social system of the Honorable Prime Minister and to make the country a developed country by 2041 from the primary level.

Coastal Social Welfare Foundation is successfully implementing various projects with the aim of expanding digital Bangladesh technology and ICT education and building skilled manpower. Under the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology, through the project of setting up computer labs in educational institutions all over the country called “Benefits of Technology” from July, 2018 to June, 2019, 2 training labs in Pekua Upazila of the country, including 10 digital labs in secondary, higher secondary and madrasah or above educational institutions. Coastal Social Welfare Foundation has taken the initiative.

All these digital labs have created great interest in Pekua Upazila in expanding information technology education and building the new generation as IT skilled manpower. The establishment of these labs at the grass root level will bring about a revolutionary change in the field of education and ICT. Students at primary, secondary, madrasah and above levels will get the opportunity to use ICT in education and involve themselves in ICT education. In addition to the teachers and students of the concerned educational institutions, various government and private training activities will be successfully completed in these labs. In this context – Executive Director of USKF A SA Ershad said – ICT clubs will be established at the local level for the development of education at the grass root level, the spread of ICT, and the development of skilled human resources.
